beesite Recruiting: The international applicant management system

Commerzbank is the second-largest major bank in Germany, with more than 50,000 employees in over 50 countries. At the end of 2012, as part of its ‘Recruiting 2015’ project, the bank was looking for internationally usable e-recruiting software that would provide a customizable system for multiple clients, based on a ‘global template’. Commerzbank AG in Germany, as well as its subsidiaries and foreign locations, each have their own target applicant groups and therefore their own different workflows.

Task:
Introduce e-recruiting software as an integrated software solution for the global recruiting/applicant management process. All of Commerzbank’s requirements for security, SAP integration and flexible integration of committees such as the works council or representatives for severely disabled employees needed to be guaranteed both at the head office in Frankfurt and at the locations throughout Germany.

Solution:
Cost efficiency from standardization meets client customization: the beesite Recruiting Edition maps the entire job publication and applicant management process. Interfaces ensure smooth importing of position data, data exchanges between beesite and the bank’s internal SAP HRM system and the intranet, and a convenient and secure single sign-on from the SAP portal. In addition, milch & zucker provided a link between the recruiting process steps in the system and Commerzbank’s ticket system to ensure targeted support from the shared service team. To optimize the applicant experience, corporate-design-compliant job ads are used worldwide, a map facilitates the job search, and job-specific online application forms are available. The job portal is designed for use on mobile devices and offers additional features such as ‘bookmarking’ job ads (job flags), having suitable jobs sent to you by email (job subscription), an overview of the status of your application(s), viewing emails from Commerzbank, and editing your own applicant profile. Since going live in September 2013, the system has steadily been connecting applicant management for the subsidiaries and international branches according to a defined roll-out plan.
