Union Investment employs around 2,500 people at various locations and is an attractive employer in the financial sector. Task: The previous applicant management system had reached the limits of its functionalities and processes. An applicant management system was therefore needed to make HR management more efficient and to enable greater process automation and optimization. Other project objectives were to improve service quality and satisfaction for all those involved in the process, as well as to increase the company’s attractiveness as an employer through a modern applicant management system. It was also important to connect the recruiting system to the internal SAP system and external job boards. Solution: Union Investment has been using beesite Recruiting Edition since 2008. The third generation of the software came out in 2014, and a mobile job board was added in 2015. The software is used for online recruiting and complete applicant management, including CV parsing (automatic import of CVs) in the application’s back office. The applicant management system is designed so that applicants can apply online with or without registering. beesite Recruiting Edition is embedded in Union Investment’s SAP system landscape and enables highly integrated application management via import and export interfaces: importing SAP position data into beesite, publishing job ads in the company’s own layout on its own mobile job board, on the intranet and on external job boards, managing and processing all candidates from application to hiring, involving all relevant process participants, and exporting data to other company systems.
